The editor that edits your video on your own device
Kesit is a video editor that runs in the browser. Your video opens the moment you pick it, is edited and is exported on your own computer; it never goes to a server.

Why there is no upload
Most online editors first upload your video to their server. That means waiting, minutes for a long video. It means your video sits on someone else’s machine. And it means somebody pays for that server, usually through a watermark or a hard time limit.
Kesit has none of that: the file opens inside the browser. Cutting, captions, green screen, noise reduction and the export all run on your computer’s or phone’s own processor.
How it works
Modern browsers can decode and re-encode video directly (WebCodecs). Kesit uses that; it draws the picture on the graphics card, mixes the sound on a separate thread and exports in the background, so it carries on while the tab is somewhere else.
Jobs such as automatic captions, background removal and noise reduction are done by small models that run on the device. A model downloads once; the sound and picture never leave your device.
Your projects are kept in the browser’s own storage. Close the tab, open it again and you are where you left off; you can also download a project as a file and open it on another computer.
How it pays for itself
The editor and the tools are free and without a watermark. An optional Pro plan covers longer videos and jobs like automatic captions. Pages of the site outside the editor may carry an ad or a sponsor slot; the editor and the export never do.
You do not need an account. One is only needed if you buy a plan; what is kept with an account, and for how long, is listed item by item in the privacy notice.
Who it is for
Anyone who wants a phone video ready for Reels, TikTok or Shorts quickly: creators, small businesses, teachers, someone putting together a birthday video. Nothing to install; a link and a modern browser are enough.
